TECHNICAL INFORMATION

SLSTREAT 5050 is a clear amber neutralized aqueous solution of a methacrylic acid polymer. The molecular weight is approximately 6,500 by GPC versus polyacrylate standarts.

SLSTREAT 5050 is suggested for use as a desludging agent in water systems such as cooling towers, boilers and heat exchangers.

SLSTREAT 5050 is used at a rate of 20 ppm for its dispersing action. The amount to be used depends on the system condition and flow patern in the affected area.

The composition of SLSTREAT 5050 is registered on the TSCA Inventory.
